Ulgromthier

Updated · Champions

Quick answer

Ulgromthier is the Fyreslayer Auric Runemaster added to the October demo. He starts with a higher health pool and the Brazier Staff, which fires arcing magma projectiles; players report it evolves into Master of Runes with Liquid Green Stuff. Demo players widely called him the strongest of the six.

Why he’s rated

Auroch describes “his penchant for aggressively wading into hordes” — the extra health lets you stand in the swarm while the magma arcs do the work. Steam forum threads from the demo asked “who is Ulgromthier” and “how to play him” more than any other champion. He’s also the lore link to the Fyrestorm Greataxe line (Fyreslayers wield it; evolving it summons Gotrek).

FAQ

Is Ulgromthier a real Warhammer character?

Auroch presents him as an Auric Runemaster, high priest of a Fyreslayer forge-temple. He's new to Warhammer Survivors rather than a long-established named character.

Can he use the Fyrestorm Greataxe?

Keywords decide it and aren't published. If not, a Fyreslayer follower would use it for him under the Squad system.
